Andrew Patterson

Andrew was born in Salem, Oregon in 1998 and was raised in Salem. Andrew has attended Salem First Baptist Church his whole life and it is where he believed in Jesus at the age of five. During Andrew’s teenage years he attended Christian Youth in Action each year and has continued as volunteer staff since. At the 2023 CYIA Andrew felt God calling him to be more than a volunteer with CEF. The following year he interned under Jeff and Amy at the Capital office and finished his training at the Children’s Ministry Institute in the 179th graduating class. Now Andrew is working as the ministry assistant in the Capital office. Andrew’s focus is on the promotion for CYIA and growing the outreach of CEF in Salem and the surrounding towns.

Andrew is soon to be married to Kayla in 2025.
